Kelli started her nutrition journey as a teenager. She had been plagued by stomach issues for as long as she could remember. She consulted multiple doctors who were unable to give her a definitive diagnosis or ease her symptoms. Finally in college, a gastrointestinal specialist gave her a diagnosis of irritable bowel disease (IBD), but the recommended diet changes did nothing to ease her discomfort.
She always suspected her symptoms were food related. She began to research nutrition and the impact certain foods have on the body. When she began college, she knew the field of nutrition was where she belonged. She completed her degree and internship at Syracuse University in New York.
After graduation, she moved to Arizona and worked as an inpatient and outpatient dietitian at a local hospital. After the birth of her first child, she turned her attention to private nutrition counseling, which was always the favorite aspect of her specialty.
Kelli is constantly reading and researching the latest news and scientific studies on nutrition. Through her research, she has been able to cure all of her digestive problems. Since her gut has healed, she has hardly been sick, she has more energy, and even lost a few pounds with ease!
